Join us for our Winter Concert on Friday, December 13th, at 6 PM at MASD. It will be a fantastic evening where our talented kindergarten through 12th-grade students will shine as they showcase their musical skills. We can’t wait to see you there!
Winter Spirit Week: Dec 16 - 20th
Students will have some fun with our Winter Spirit Week! Here’s what we have planned:
Monday: Ugly Sweater Day (Time to show off your silliest sweaters!)
Tuesday: Blue Out (Let’s wear blue to show our school spirit!)
Wednesday: Pajama Day (Snuggle up in your favorite PJs and enjoy hot cocoa!)
Thursday: Fun Headwear Day (Hats, headbands, or whatever fun headwear you can think of!)
Friday: We invite families to join us at our December Assembly and a Gingerbread House Competition on Friday, December 20th, at 1:30 PM!
- MAS and PCIA students will all be released at 2:30 on 12/20, directly following the assembly to begin Winter Break.

Join us in helping the Skamania County Community Events Christmas Basket Program, with our giving tree. Just scan the QR code from one of the tags on or giving tree purchase an item and have it shipped right to the Christmas basket program.
We cherish our school traditions, and while we've made a few adjustments this year, we're excited to introduce Winter Break Bags in place of stockings! We kindly ask for your support through donations to help fill these bags for our students to take home on Thursday, December 19th. Your generosity is always appreciated, and we are grateful for the continued support from our amazing community. A friendly reminder: today is Early Release Wednesday.
Picture Retake Day is October 17th, 2004.
If your student was absent, this is an excellent opportunity to get school pictures. Picture Day pictures should be sent home in time for you to decide whether to keep them or have your student retake their school picture.

Today is National TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY! If you haven't already, please send your child's teacher(s) a note (or email, card, chat :-) letting them know something you appreciate about them.
The Mill A School District is so blessed to have such excellent, dedicated and caring teachers. Please join us in recognizing and appreciating them all next week, and especially on National Teacher Appreciation Day - Tuesday, May 7.
SCHOOL BUS DRIVER APPRECIATION DAY
Miss Barbie, We are genuinely grateful for all that you do as our school bus driver. On this 2024 School Bus Driver Appreciation Day, we wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for your hard work and for always getting Mill A students to and from school safely. Your dedication, kindness, and commitment to ensuring our students' safety on the road does not go unnoticed.

This Wednesday (4/27) is the first FULL-DAY Wednesday for making up snow day hours. The afternoon bus schedule will be the same as the regular M/T/Th/F schedule for both schools.

This afternoon Mill A School and PCIA will simultaneously conduct a campus-wide LOCKDOWN DRILL. Please watch for a follow-up email with more information about the use of Standard Response Protocol and additional safety measures being implemented at MASD. If you have any questions please contact superintendent Bob Rogers at 509-538-2700.
Friday (2/16) - LATE START schedule. It's a very different snow situation and forecast for today, and we are confident it will be a FULL LATE START day with regular end of day schedule times.
Thursday (2/15) - We missed the call this time, and have made the decision to end the school day early. MAS is being dismissed at 12:30, and PCIA classes and lunch will end at 12:45.

Thursday (2/15) - LATE START SCHEDULE. Hopefully that will buy the road crews and Mr. Tim enough time to plow the 15" of heavy snow we got here in Mill A!
Monday (1/22) - LATE START Schedule. No breakfast. All classes starting 9:30am.
